COVID-19 Response

My intention is to be in the office to meet with those who prefer in-person sessions or do not have access to Telehealth options. If you prefer to meet online or via telephone for a Telehealth session, please let me know and I will be happy to arrange this with you.

For in-office sessions, I ask for your cooperation in following social distancing practices:

  • Maintaining at least six-foot social distancing from other individuals;

  • Washing hands with soap and water (especially if hands are soiled) for at least 20 seconds as frequently as possible or using hand sanitizer;

  • Covering coughs or sneezes (into the sleeve, elbow or tissue, not hands);

  • Regularly cleaning high-touch surfaces; and

  • Not shaking hands.

I will be sanitizing the office frequently throughout the day, focusing especially on doorknobs, handrails, light switches, armchairs, and commonly used surface areas. There is soap and hand sanitizer for you to use in each of the bathrooms. PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS UPON ENTRY INTO THE BUILDING. 

I allow for at least 15 minutes between appointments. Please wait outside/in your car until the time of your appointment to allow enough time for the previous client to exit the building (physical/social distancing). 

If you are at a higher risk for complications from COVID-19, including people over age 65 and those with pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes, chronic lung disease and chronic heart disease, or a compromised immune system (e.g., cancer, cancer treatment, or other immunosuppressant treatments), please make use of the Telehealth/telephone options. 

If you have any type of cold or flu symptoms, please stay home and make use of the Telehealth or telephone option. I’ll do the same.  

I will be flexing my schedule as many others are right now. I will have appointments available that are not listed on my online calendar. Please contact me to schedule appointments not listed online. 

If your financial situation has been/is being negatively affected by this situation, I will be happy to talk with you about a temporary fee reduction. This will be done on a case-by-case basis.
